Trina and Michael

We're looking to adopt a baby

Hello! We are Michael and Trina. Thank you so much for choosing to read about our family and for learning more about us.

Our story began in 2007 in Kansas when we were introduced by a mutual friend who thought we would hit it off. We arranged a pseudo-blind date to meet for dinner - and to watch Monday night football. We both figured that if things went south, at least we would have some good entertainment. Instead, we ended up talking for about three hours straight! It turns out our friend was right; we’ve been together ever since.

We were married in 2012 and, less than a year later, moved to Washington state. It was in Seattle that our son Carter was born; he arrived seven weeks early. With an Airlift flight rescue, emergency surgery, and 26 days in NICU, he has quite the birth story. He is the greatest joy of our lives, but due to medical reasons, another child is extremely high risk for us. We feel that God has chosen another route for us to grow our family, which is why we have chosen to seek adoption.
